Inquision has expanded its geographical base of operations with a new panel in South Africa. The South African Research Panel is recruited exclusively for research use in South Africa.

“We are proud to open the South African Research Panel,” says Mads Stenbjerre, Inquision’s managing partner. “This is a significant investment in the future. South Africa is a growing market that is becoming increasingly important for many major brands and their research partners. As the ‘first on the ground’ we will be perfectly positioned when online research in South Africa starts to take off in the near future.”

South Africa has a population of 48 million people. The South African research market is the biggest in Africa with an annual value of more than 100 mio. EUR (roughly equivalent to the market research spending in Turkey). Online research currently accounts for less than 5% of the market but is expected to grow dramatically over the next years.

“As a Turkish company it is exciting for us to expand our operations,” says Mads Stenbjerre. “This is just the beginning. In the Fall we hope to be able to announce other panels.”
