How it works
As a member of the Nigerian Survey Panel you will be invited by email from time-to-time to participate in surveys on topics ranging from advertisements, new products, to social issues.
Participation is 100% voluntary and it does not cost anything. You can always choose not to participate in individual surveys.
You will only be invited to surveys. We do not sell your email address to other companies, send marketing messages or spam to your email account.
We know your time is valuable! Every time you take time out to participate in one of our surveys you will have the chance to win a prize. Before each survey you will be informed what you can win.
Each email invitation will tell you how long a survey will take to complete and how long the survey is open. Most surveys are short – about 5-10 minutes – but some are longer. Usually a survey will be open for answers for a period of 4-7 days.
To join the Nigerian Survey Panel, we need to collect some personal information about you. This allows us to make sure we invite you to future surveys that are relevant to you and that we don’t have to ask you the same questions each time you complete a survey. The information is only used for statistical purposes or to send you invitations and prizes.
Your information is secure! We will never share your personal information with any other party or allow any other company access to your personal information (such as name, email address, etc.) without prior written confirmation from you.
Some frequently asked questions:
1. What will my personal data be used for?
2. How often will I receive survey invitations?
3. Why didn't I receive the confirmation email?
4. Sometimes surveys are closed before the end time. Why?
5. Who reads the findings?
6. Will I receive spam as a result of signing up to South African Survey Panel?
1. What will the information I provide be used for?
Inquision collects some personal data about each member for a number of reasons. Firstly, it enables us to contact you about research to take part in. Secondly, it enables us to contact you with just those surveys which are relevant to you. Thirdly, it helps us to analyze our survey data by for example, your gender, age, or what region you live in.
We take the security of your personal data very seriously and obey all laws regarding personal information protection and follow international standards issued by ESOMAR (the world organization for market research). This means that your data will be secure and will never be passed on to third parties without your permission.
2. How often will I receive survey invitations?
We can’t say how often you will receive invitations because it depends on the number of surveys we conduct and the needs of our clients. Some members will receive more invitations than others because they are in the target group for specific clients.
3. Why didn't I receive the confirmation email?
We have become aware that Hotmail (and possibly other email providers) some times categorize our mails as spam/junk email. This means that you may have to look in your spam/junk mail folder to find our confirmation email (and invitations).
If you find the email in your spam/junk folder you can move it to your inbox and indicate that you would like to receive mail from us in the future (Mark as safe).
If the email did not arrive (neither in your inbox or your spam/junk mail folder) you can contact us by using the contact form.
4. Sometimes surveys are closed before the scheduled end time. Why?
We will always try to leave our surveys open for as long as we can to enable our members to have a chance to respond. But some projects have very tight deadlines so we start analyzing the data as soon as the targeted number of people have answered.
5. Who reads the findings?
Who reads research findings depends on the client who has commissioned the research. Sometimes research is used internally by a client for example, in order to inform a marketing or policy decision. In this case, the research is not usually made publicly available.
6. Will I get spam as a result of signing up to Nigerian Survey Panel?
No. Inquision is not in the business of selling personal data on to third parties. Your contact details will only be used by Inquision to contact you for research.
We take the security of your personal data very seriously and obey all laws regarding personal information protection and follow international standards issued by ESOMAR (the world organization for market research).
